April 27, 2018 - The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) and the National Economic and Development Authority - Central Office (NEDA-CO) sign memorandum of agreement between two agencies.
Postmaster General Joel Otarra represents PHLPost while NEDA-CO is represented by Usec. Jose Miguel Dela Rosa, together with their respective officials.
NEDA-CO stated that they would like to make the partnership official by entering into an agreement. They also said that NEDA through their other branches has already availing PHLPost services.
"This event is very timely as we celebrate our 26th year of incorporation, we are also strengthening our bonds with other government instrumentality" PMG Otarra said in his speech during the signing ceremony.
The agreement intends to utilize the services of PHLPost for the delivery of NEDA-CO’s parcels/documents for local and international mails. It also aims to give a more economical, efficient, and speedy service.
"We are very pleased that NEDA and other government agencies are now availing of our services and trusting the institution" PMG Otarra added.
This partnership will be effective for a period of one year.
